As you can see, the back of Mum's Mate sits naturally and comfortably over Mom's back and shoulders. The neck hole is large enough to sit on her neck, rather than digging into it. (See the collar of her blouse is above the lining of the neck hole.) See, also, how nicely it rounds about over her shoulders in a very smooth manner. The back is also large enough for additional protection when Mommy wishes to burp baby. Mum's Mate should still go below where the bottom of a burp cloth will lay.
